Controllers and how to choose them
A controller is an instrument that determines the output value in order to bring the measured value closer to the target value, and outputs an output that matches operation end.
A controller specifically designed for temperature control is called a temperature controller.
In addition to control temperature, they can also be used to display measured values and target values, and to issue alarm (contact) outputs.
How to Choose
When selecting a controller, the following factors must be considered:
Choose by purpose
First consider whether you want to control to a single fixed value, or whether you want control program it to control under certain conditions.
Even in the case of fixed control, it is possible to provide functionality similar to pseudo program operation by using remote SV function.
In addition to control output, the results can also be used as an alarm output or transmission signal, making it possible to use the system as a whole.
Choose your size
Select from the German Industrial Standard (DIN) sizes as the basic size.
Choose from W48 x H48mm, W48 x H96mm, H96 x H96mm.
Selecting control output
There are various types of control output. Select the one that suits control target.
The main types are as follows:
・On-off pulse type
・ on-off servo type
current output type
・ SSR drive pulse type
・Voltage output type
Some models have two-output regulators.
Choose option
In addition to control output signals, various option are available as needed.
