Export Control Policy
- We will comply with export-related laws and regulations, such as the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act, and laws and regulations regarding the re-export of U.S. products. We will not export goods or provide technology in violation of these laws.
- We will clearly define and reliably implement procedures for determining whether a product is in compliance with applicable law, customer screening, and transaction screening that comprehensively takes these into consideration.
- When conducting transactions, we verify and screen documents regarding the destination, end use (purpose), and end user of the goods or technology, and strive to prevent the proliferation of not only weapons of mass destruction, but also conventional weapons such as arms.
- We require domestic business partners, especially exporters, to submit a confirmation document detailing the objective requirements on each occasion. In addition, we require domestic agents to submit a letter of commitment, and exporters to submit a confirmation document detailing general requirements.
