Proposal for improving yield in lithium-ion battery manufacturing process
One of process manufacturing process for lithium-ion batteries involves applying a slurry to the electrodes.
If the slurry is not applied properly, the battery will be defective.
CHINO proposes a method to check in advance whether the slurry is being applied normally by non-contact "solid concentration measurement" during the slurry application process.
This technology has been developed through joint research with the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology.
