• Benefits of measurement: Fine iron ore is mixed with limestone and coal, melted and sintered on the sintering line, and cut into suitable sizes for feeding into the blast furnace. Moisture measurement makes it possible to measure the moisture moisture of each of these raw materials and use it for weight correction, measure the mixed raw materials after mixing and drying, optimize moisture before sintering, and measure the thermal efficiency during sintering.
• Key point: calibration curve will change depending on the blending conditions and the type of iron ore. Also, the sample itself has a low reflectance, is less sensitive than normal samples, and has varying particle sizes, so to improve measurement accuracy, it is necessary to remove as much disturbance as possible, such as unevenness on the measurement surface, distance fluctuations, extraneous light, and dust.
