What is Instrumentation?

The JIS defines instrumentation as "the installation of devices for control and monitoring after considering the measurement, control or management methods of the target system in order to realize the operation and management of the target system."

Chino's instrumentation system and strengths

An instrumentation system refers to a series of systems that plan, equip, and operate and manage measurement equipment, control devices, and monitoring equipment to enable facilities in factories and plant facilities to perform advanced functions, save labor and energy in operation and management, improve productivity, and ensure and improve quality and safety.

Concrete Carbonation Testing Equipment This device maintains constant temperature, humidity, and CO2 concentration inside the tank to promote the neutralization of concrete specimens.

Concrete insulation temperature rise test equipment This device measures the heat of hydration that is generated when concrete condenses and hardens.
By control the temperature of the concrete sample and the ambient temperature to be the same, an insulating condition is created and the temperature rise of the concrete due to heat of hydration alone is measured.

Thermal shock test equipment This device alternately supplies hot and cold water to an on-board heat exchanger to evaluate its thermal durability.
The flow rate and supply time can also be controlled.
An airflow measuring device is also included, so it is possible to test the test item while blowing air through it.
Up to three specimens can be tested simultaneously.
  • The facility is equipped with a temperature-controlled room that uses a unique cooling coil switching system, allowing continuous operation for three months with temperature fluctuations within ±1℃.

  • It is equipped with a remote monitoring system.
    The system uses mobile lines (without using the delivery destination's internal LAN), allowing you to freely check the equipment's operating status using a PC, tablet, or smartphone.
Hydraulic continuous pressure testing device This equipment uses hydraulic pressure to alternately apply high and low load to a test specimen, evaluating its pressure durability.
A thermostatic chamber is included. Simultaneous testing of up to 5 specimens is possible.
  • We use a high-performance hydraulic pump that generates little heat.
  • By linking the PLC and graphic logger, data can be logged periodically at set times.
Large thawing cooler This is a large-scale refrigeration facility for thawing and freezing products in a dry atmosphere (dehumidification).
  • It is possible to defrost objects with a thermal capacity equivalent to 1000 kg at a time.
  • The internal mixing fan achieves uniform freezing and thawing in a short time, contributing to energy savings.
  • It is also possible to monitor the object by measuring its surface temperature using a thermal imaging camera.
