Environmental friendliness of products

We are focusing on development and manufacturing of environmentally friendly products such as performance evaluation test equipment for air conditioning and heating equipment, fuel cell evaluation test equipment, thermal image measurement etc. For other industrial instrument, we determine environmentally friendly items such as compliance with various environmental regulations and resource and energy conservation, certify eco-label products in accordance with JIS Q 14021, and select certified environmentally friendly products.

Environmental Assessment Standards

In this system, assessment standards are set out in the "Environmentally Conscious Design Management Rules," which serve as our internal regulations for development of environmentally conscious products. Each product development is screened in accordance with these standards and certified as an environmentally conscious product.
These management regulations are based on JIS Q 14021 and include our own unique content, setting 11 environmental assessment criteria. Three of these criteria are mandatory (two for temperature sensors and power regulators), and products development that meet each criterion, plus two or more optional criteria, are certified as environmentally conscious products.

Environmental claims (standard items) Design standards (overview) [Updated October 1, 2014]
Management of harmful chemical substances
※Required field
The permissible limits for "prohibited substances" and "controlled substances" contained in products as stipulated in the Chino Green Procurement Standards.
This includes
  1. RoHS regulated substances are below threshold or exemption limits.
  2. The vendor's RoHS Declaration of Compliance is available.
  3. No intentionally added PFOS.
  4. The content of SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern) in products under the EU-REACH Regulation is managed.
  5. Note: Limited to SVHCs that have been published by ECHA for more than six months.
  6. Substances in Annex ⅩⅭ (list of authorized substances) of the EU-REACH Regulation are controlled.
  7. Note: Please note that the sunset date for diethyl phthalate (DEHP) is 2015.04.21.
  8. There is no content exceeding the regulated values in Annex ⅩⅦ (list of restricted substances) of the EU-REACH Regulation.
  9. Permitted content of substances in packaging materials stipulated by the EU Packaging directive
Information provided
※Required field
Ability to provide information regarding the content of hazardous chemical substances.
  1. China RoHS:
  2. ① Attachment of a label indicating that the product contains toxic or harmful substances;
    ② Attaching pollution prevention labels to products;
    ③ A recycling mark is affixed to the outer packaging.
  3. EU WEEE:
  4. ① The Crossout dustbin mark is affixed to the product.
    ② The resin material is display.
    ③Disassembly manual (service manual plan) available.
  5. EU-REACH:
  6. For SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern), there must be a "Content Information Transmission Sheet"
