Within the grounds of the Fujioka Plant, we are taking into consideration the conservation of the biological environment, restoring the nature that is being lost in the area, and developing a biotope called the "Chino Biotope Forest" in an effort to bring back the traditional, naturally rich Satoyama of the Kanto Plain. In collaboration with Gunma University, we have planted about 70 species of trees, including konara oak and sawtooth oak, and have also created a pond and a promenade. There is also a baseball field, which is open to nearby little league teams, deepening interactions with local residents.
Every year, many employees from our Fujioka Office and other bases take part in volunteer forest maintenance activities at Fujioka Koshinzan General Park in Gunma Prefecture.
