For thermocouples

For thermocouples, organic insulation materials such as Teflon tubes (maximum 250°C) are available, but since they are generally used at high temperatures, heat-resistant porcelain is used.
The following items may be considered as conditions for the insulation pipe.

• Must have sufficient insulation properties at the operating temperature and in the atmosphere.
• Must be strong enough to withstand thermal and mechanical shock.
• Does not contain any harmful substances that may react with or attack the metal of the thermocouple.
• Do not bend or fuse during use.

Similarly, resistance uses a three-hole insulation tube to provide electrical insulation for the three Ni wires.
