Polymer water electrolysis
Hydrogen is produced by electrolyzing water in an electrolysis cell that uses a solid polymer membrane. While alkaline water electrolysis uses an aqueous solution of potassium hydroxide, this method uses pure water as the raw material. It utilizes the know-how of PEFC (solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell) evaluation test equipment.

High Temperature water vapor Electrolysis (SOEC)
Using a high-temperature electrolysis cell that uses oxide-based solid electrolytes (Solid Oxide Electrolysis), such as conductive ceramics, hydrogen is produced by electrolyzing high-temperature water vapor at approximately 700°C. Heat can be used for electrolysis.

Alkaline water electrolysis
Hydrogen is produced by electrolyzing an aqueous solution of potassium hydroxide. Hydrogen is produced at the cathode, and oxygen and water are produced at the anode. Hydrogen is reacted with toluene to produce methylcyclohexane (MCH), which is then transported and stored, and hydrogen is extracted and used through a dehydrogenation reaction at the point of demand. The toluene remaining after dehydrogenation is returned to the MCH manufacturing plant.
