The IR-FA series is a fiber-optic transmission type radiation thermometer that guides the measurement light (radiant energy) captured by a small light-collecting part about the size of a little finger to detecting element housed in a small box-shaped main body via optical fiber optics. The small light-collecting part and flexible fiber optics transmission make it useful for measurements in places where it is not possible to look directly into the object, in narrow places, or where there is a risk of electrical induction interference.
radiation thermometer combines a lens and fiber optics as optics. The lens part is small enough to be used in environments up to 150°C. A short-wavelength thermometer with a measurement range of 400°C to 3000°C that is less affected by changes in the surface condition of the object being measured.
