Standard Thermocouple C850 (Japan Only)

The C850 is a standard thermocouple made of high-purity gold (positive leg) and platinum (negative leg), which was commercialized through joint research with Professor Goto of the Tamagawa University Faculty of Engineering.
Compared to conventional thermocouples using precious metal thermocouples (R, S, B) specified in the JIS, the electromotive force drift when exposed to high temperatures is small, and the uncertainty due to inhomogeneity is also significantly smaller.
