Standard Thermocouple C810

C810 is a standard thermocouple that uses high-purity platinum (positive leg) and palladium (negative leg) and was commercialized through technology transfer from the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST).
Compared to conventional thermocouples that use precious metal thermocouples (R, S, B) specified by JIS, stability at high temperatures is significantly improved.

Improved stability at high temperatures

  • By using it as a specific secondary standard as specified in the Measurement Act, it is possible to transfer the freezing point of silver or copper.
  • A quartz protective tube is provided as the protective tube.
