ultra-high temperature fixed point blackbody furnace IR-R80

The IR-R80 is an ultra-high temperature fixed-point blackbody furnace that uses a metal-carbon eutectic point development by the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, and has made it possible to raise the temperature (up to 2474°C) for fixed-point calibration of radiation thermometer, whereas previously it was only possible to achieve the copper point (1085°C).

  • blackbody cavity has an opening diameter of φ3 mm, allowing fixed-point calibration of the 0.65 μm standard radiation thermometer IR-RST65H.
  • Seven types of fixed-point crucibles are available between 1100℃ and 2500℃

The IR-R80 is an ultra-high temperature fixed-point blackbody furnace that uses a metal-carbon eutectic point development by the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, and has made it possible to raise the temperature (up to 2474°C) of fixed-point calibration of radiation thermometer, whereas previously it was only possible to achieve the copper point (1085°C).
The device configuration of a furnace body and a fixed-point crucible, and various fixed points can be achieved by replacing the fixed-point crucible.

Features

  • By using a metal-carbon confocal point, the temperature of radiation thermometer fixed point calibration can be increased (from 1153℃ to 2474℃).
  • blackbody cavity has an opening aperture of φ3 mm, allowing fixed-point calibration of the 0.65 μm standard radiation thermometer IR-RST65H.
  • Seven types of fixed-point crucibles are available between 1100℃ and 2500℃
    (By replacing the fixed-point crucible, seven fixed points can be achieved with one furnace.)
  • Energy saving by using cylindrical carbon/carbon fiber composite as heating element
  • A fiber-type radiation thermometer (0.9 μm silicon monochromatic radiation thermometer) is used as control temperature sensor to ensure long-term stability
