This is a variable temperature blackbody furnace for comparative calibration radiation thermometer development in collaboration with the National Metrology Institute of Japan (NMIJ).
This is a Variable Temperature blackbody (VTBB) for comparative calibration radiation thermometer development in collaboration with National Metrology Institute of Japan (NMIJ).
A carbon nanotube (CNT) substrate is used at the bottom of the furnace, achieving high effective emissivity over a wide wavelength range.
This significantly reduces the uncertainty of calibration temperature caused by differences in the measurement wavelength of radiation thermometer.
