High emissivity variable temperature blackbody furnace IR-R20

This is a variable temperature blackbody furnace for comparative calibration radiation thermometer development in collaboration with the National development Institute of Japan (NMIJ).

  • Achieves high execution emissivity
  • Reduces the uncertainty of calibration temperature due to differences in the measurement wavelength of radiation thermometer from 1.55 μm to 14 μm

This is a Variable Temperature blackbody (VTBB) for comparative radiation thermometer development in collaboration with the National development Institute of Japan (NMIJ).
A carbon nanotube (CNT) substrate is used at the bottom of the furnace, achieving high effective emissivity over a wide wavelength range.
This significantly reduces the uncertainty of calibration temperature caused by differences in the measurement wavelength of radiation thermometer.

Features

  • Achieves high effective emissivity (0.999±0.001)
  • Reduces the uncertainty of calibration temperature due to differences in the measurement wavelength of radiation thermometer from 1.55 μm to 14 μm
  • Compact and lightweight
