We received the Innovation and Environment Bureau Director-General's Award at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's Metrology Day Ceremony.

The Innovation and Environment Bureau Director-General's Award is given to individuals who are recognized as having made outstanding contributions to the National Examination for Certified Measurers and others who have made a special contribution to the operation of the measurement system, etc., and whose achievements are recognized as being outstanding.

At the 2024 Metrology Day Ceremony, Masanao Sasaki, General Manager of the Standards Technology Department at our Kuki Factory, received the award.

He has been involved in the creation and revision of IEC and JIS standards related to temperature for many years, and at CHINO he has been involved in JCSS calibration work and the manufacture of standard temperature sensors, and was recognized for his achievements in promoting measurement standards both inside and outside the company.


CHINO will continue to contribute to the maintenance and development of metrology systems through temperature measurement technologies, including calibration and standard temperature sensors.
