News Release

We will contribute to energy-saving measures toward achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.

CHINO Corporation (Itabashi-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Mikio Toyoda; TSE Prime: 6850) has specifications three types of data loggers (hereinafter referred to as loggers) to its MZ series of real-time wireless loggers on Friday, June 28, 2024: a voltage input model, a pulse input model, and a large-capacity battery model.

The three types of loggers being released this time are suitable for factory power monitoring, environmental monitoring, and flow rate monitoring of steam volume, etc.
As a first step towards energy conservation, there are many cases where visualization of power consumption at the distribution board unit is being undertaken. However, due to the high construction costs, it is difficult to implement. The MZ series makes it easy to collect data wirelessly, has a long battery life, and is inexpensive. It can contribute to energy conservation measures toward the realization of carbon neutrality by 2050.

What is the MZ series?

The MZ series is a device that can acquire measurement data such as temperature from a logger by communicating with a receiver that has built-in wireless communication function. The data logging by the receiver from each logger is stored in the receiver's database and can be viewed in browser. The receiver can be connected to a dedicated PC app to centrally manage data from multiple receivers. Furthermore, the receiver is equipped with LTE communication as a communication method, making it possible to make it mobile.
The logger can be wirelessly connected to any receiver in the system, allowing for flexible support when the logger moves with the transport vehicle or when the installation location is changed. It is scalable from a single point monitoring system to a large-scale system, and can also be provided as a package system.

Features

  • The wireless communication distance is relatively long, so data can be collected without the need for data collection.
  • Since the time axis is aligned, stacked graphs of multiple measurement points can be configuration (e.g., from a CSV file in Excel).
  • Data can be automatically supplemented even if wireless communication fails.
  • multi points monitoring is possible with long-distance wireless communication of approximately 1 km.
  • Long battery life (approximately 7 months at 5-second measurement intervals/large capacity battery specifications)
  • The receiver can use Wi-Fi and LTE communications.
  • Even if the logger battery runs out, no operation is required and it can be resumed by simply inserting the battery.
  • Since FTP can be sent directly from the receiver, it can be linked to your system without the need for an app.
  • Since the database is partially open, it can be linked to BI tools (e.g. Grafana)
