I am using a B thermocouple, but the indication error is quite large around room temperature. Why is that?

The thermoelectromotive force of B thermocouples is relatively small, and JIS does not allow temperatures below 600°C. Due to characteristic of the electromotive force, errors become particularly large in the low temperature range near room temperature.
