What is "fluororesin molding" for insulated thermocouples, and in what cases is it used?

By covering the temperature-sensing part of a coated thermocouple, which is normally exposed, with fluororesin, water and chemicals will not get inside the sensor. This is a tip treatment that makes it possible to measure water and chemicals that are normally unsuitable for coated thermocouples.
