Is there an easy way to distinguish between the current model and the old model?

The current model has a model name display on the cover at the bottom of the front of the device that ends with a "C" (KP3000C), while the old model is just "KP3000." Also, the current model has display five-digit SV display, while the old model has a four-digit display.
