Starting in 2020, the Japan Meteorological Agency and the Ministry of the Environment have been implementing a trial "Heat Stroke Alert" to prevent heat stroke. The standard value for this alert is also based on the WBGT (heat index).
If there is a risk that the WBGT value at a workplace will exceed the standard value, there is a higher risk of suffering from heatstroke.
The "Heat Index WBGT Monitoring System" measures air temperature, relative humidity, and black globe temperature, and monitors the measured data by comparing it with the WBGT standard values.
The following parameter are measured by the MD8000 wireless logger, and the heat index (WBGT) is calculated by the CISAS/V4 centralized monitoring package system to prevent and monitor heat stroke.
At our Fujioka facility, the temperature, humidity, and WBGT of each department are centrally managed using the CISAS/V4 centralized monitoring system, and are made visible on the company intranet.
By using Chino's measurement system, this can be achieved in your own environment.
We also operate a centralized monitoring system that simultaneously takes measures against heatstroke by measuring the WBGT value and against the new coronavirus using thermal imaging cameras.
